Auxins (the best known natural auxin is IAA, indoleacetic acid): their function is to promote plant growth, distension and cellular differentiation. Gibberellins: have action similar to auxins (growth and distension), stimulate flowering and fruit formation and activate seed germination. Cytokinins: increase cellular division rate and together with auxins help growth and tissue differentiation, slow the plant aging.
