FileNet Content Engine (CE) has two or more databases:

Global Configuration Database (GCD) database (FNGCDDB)
Object Store databases (one or more)

A FileNet P8 domain can contain one or many object stores. Each object store has its own database which could be existing database or can be created by object store creation wizard in FEM.   Your Comment
