Question
We use software to check whether the product meets the requirements. Does ISO 9001:2000 say anything about this?

Answers

It is necessary to check the software for measuring and monitoring properties of
products and the proper functioning of processes prior to use (ISO 9001:2000,
para. 7.6). However, this requirement is not new. ISO 9001:1994 para. 4.11.1
states that software must be regularly checked to prove that it is capable of
verifying the acceptability of product prior to release.   Your Comment
