Question
We observe people prostrating before a “Shabeeh” (i.e. replica of Holy Shrine) immediately after entering Mehfils or places where they are kept. Is it permissible?

Answers

Doing Sajdah before a Shabeeh is forbidden (i.e. haram). Even if Imam-e-Zaman (a.s) were to appear, prostrating before him would not be permissible. Because Sajdah is reserved for Allah alone. If it is a Sajdah of thanks-giving to Allah, it would be permissible.   Your Comment
