Administrative Distance is a method of selecting the best path when there are different routes to the same destination from two different routing protocols. For example, Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) route with an Administrative Distance of 110 will be chosen over a Routing Information Protocol (RIP) route with an Administrative Distance of 120.   Your Comment
