Question
Does the fish heart pump venous or arterial blood?

Answers

The venous blood coming from the tissues enters the atrium and passes to the ventricle that then pumps the blood towards the gills. After oxygenation in the gills the arterial blood goes to the tissues. So the fish heart pumps venous blood.   Your Comment
