What is gravitational acceleration?

All the freely falling objects have a constant acceleration which is known as gravitational acceleration. It is denoted by "g". At the sea level, it's value is approximately 10 ms-2. If the body is falling vertically downwards, it's value is positive, but if it is moving vertically upwards then it's value is negative.   Your Comment
