Christian asks: I have understood that also in Islam eternal punishment in Hell is for those who don’t get into Heaven. What is the possible benefit of this punishment? What purpose does it serve? Same question could be asked in discussion about Christianity.
Answers
The benefit of punishment hereafter is to decrease bad deeds and counter injustice. The punishment is a natural reaction of bad deeds, as reward is a natural reaction of good deeds. With out punishment, life would have been a hell of crimes.   Your Comment
