What does Islam say regarding playing and/or watching the games like Cricket, Lawn-Tennis, Football? Is it permissible to play Chess?
Answers
If the games are played without the motive of gambling then there is no harm in participating in or watching them. But it should not consume a lot of time, which would amount to wasting the main capital of man in this life i.e. time. Chess is not permitted at all in Islam. It is haram to play or watch with or without gambling intentions.   Your Comment
