A controlling area can encompass one or more company codes. These company codes may have different currencies, but they must use the same chart of accounts. The controlling area is assigned a currency, but can also support multiple company code currencies. If all the companies have the same currency, then the object currency is freely definable (if currency type 10 is used). If the company codes do not have the same currency, then the object currency inherits the currency of the company code.   Your Comment
